With the possibilities of what can be done with Botox being seen more and more, and all manner of conditions being treated with the cosmetic treatment of the stars, yet another story has surfaced about the good that can be achieved with its use.
A story from The Hindustrian Times explains how a 19 year old sufferer of paralysis was able to get out of bed two years after a car hit the scooter the then student was riding on to get to her exams.
Her accident left her with paralysis of the right side of her body leaving her unable to walk, write or do other simple tasks many of us take for granted.
But six months after the accident she was given the first of three Botox injections having three over the next year that have enabled her to get back movement she had lost, such as moving and stretching her right arm and hand, and holding a pen and writing when initially her right arm stayed folded over her chest
